Nos dirigimos por ruta 40 hacia el norte pasando por las Estancias El Chacay y La Bandera, principales productoras de papa semilla de óptima calidad (junto con la Estancia Las Chacras). Más adelante nos detenemos para hacer referencia a la Tragedia del Chacay, donde se encontraba el Fortín El Alamito, fuerte militar de la Campaña al Desierto. Continuamos hasta empalmar con la ruta 222 y encontrar el Mirador de El Infiernillo donde observaremos el cañón del Río Salado. Luego nos dirigimos hasta la Laguna de la Niña Encantada donde son protagonistas las leyendas y las truchas, y al Valle de Los Molles donde los visitantes pueden tomar un muy placentero y reparador baño termal (opcional). Más tarde haremos una nueva parada en el Pozo de las Ánimas, impresionante mega-dolina, para finalmente arribar al Centro de Ski Valle de Las Leñas. Caminaremos por sus calles, visitaremos alguno de sus hoteles y conoceremos su historia en el Museo. Sólo en verano y si el estado del clima y del camino lo permiten, continuaremos hasta Valle Hermoso, paraíso enclavado en plena Cordillera de los Andes donde podremos nadar en su laguna y observar pinturas rupestres.

We begin this trip going on 40 route north through the breaks The Chacay and La Bandera farms, major producers of high quality seed potatoes (along with the Las Chacras farm). Later we stop to refer to Chacay Tragedy, where was El Alamito, military fort of the Desert Campaign. We will continue until the junction with Route 222 and find the El Infiernillo where we can see the canyon of the Rio Salado. Then we go to the Laguna de la Niña Encantada where legends and trouts are the protagonist, and the Valle de Los Molles where visitors can take a very pleasant and restful termal bath (optional). Later we will make a new stop at the Pozo de las Animas, a spectacular mega-doline, to finally arrive at the Ski Center Valle de Las Leñas. We will walk through its streets, visit one of the hotels and know its history at the Museum. Only in summer and if the weather and road are good, we will continue to Valle Hermoso, paradise nestled in the Andes Mountains where you can swim in the lagoon and watch rock paintings.
